IIHS has been on a crusade lately to expose automakers for the high price of
repairs resulting from low-speed crashes. Recently IIHS tested the redesigned
2010 Legacy - the result, a rating of "Acceptable". This is the highest rating
IIHS has ever issued for a bumper test on a car and the 2010 Legacy is one of
only 5 cars ever to receive this rating!
Adding
to the good news is the leap Subaru has made in recent years. The 2010 Legacy
sustained $3,202 dollars less damage than the previously tested
2007 model. This performance is a true testament to design improvements of the
